When I first saw wish lanterns, it was at the end of the Hangover 2. I thought it was just a crazy movie-only dream that could never come true except for at a wolf pack wedding. Little did I know that wish lanterns are actually not too complicated (I was figuring you needed a team to help or something) and can be bought online for a decent price. I just love the effect they have and think they would be a great ending to a party. Guests could all get a wish lantern and go outside to make a wish for the guest of honor. Whether that be the happy couple, the newly retiree, or the fresh 50-year-old, what a magical moment that’s just so cool looking. Not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper than fireworks. The pictures show numerous wish lanterns, but even 10-25 would make for a great photo-opp and an even better moment. For all of you go-green folks out there (which should be all of us!) according to the website they are 100% biodegradable and of no harm to mother earth. Now I love them even more!
